Crystals Stone of the Month

As l lay meditating –contemplating– just the other day, not really focused on anything in particular, it came to me. Not like a lightning strike but gently, calmly without notice or prompting: Citrine the stone of the month.

I set my mind to calm, to contemplation, to peace, for in these days it is important for us to find this centeredness within. It is what brings us calm: calm during the hustle and bustle that we and those around us are more and more frequently immersed in. It came gently like the energy of the stone, allowing me to become more aware of the fact that I am the vessel through which this beautiful energy flows. As many of you who know me have heard me say, it’s simply allowing ourselves to get out of the way so that the creator can work through us, just allowing the information to flow. The same thing applies when using Citrine.

Citrine is sometimes referred to as the merchant stone and is primarily used as the stone of abundance and success. I love the beautiful, fun energy that I feel from it. It warms me and lifts me, creating an all-encompassing energy of prosperity and healing. When I use Citrine, I use it for the positivity that it creates and for the energetic shifts all around it, which eliminate the fear and unworthiness that sometimes creep into life. I like to use it especially in the winter because it is a happy stone too.

Citrine brings with it the healing energies of joy, helping to relieve depression, negativity, anger, unworthiness and the doubts that sometimes overwhelm us.

Citrine is also associated with the Solar Plexus Chakra; therefore, it works well in lifting our self-esteem and soothing our ego. I like to keep it close to me when I’m dealing with my own self-doubts and worries. It is a great healing stone to use for anything associated with our stomach area, including aches, pains, and nervousness.

citrine 3When I am using Citrine, I like to keep it close to me, usually in my pocket or around my neck. Sometimes I will meditate with it either in my hands or, if I have the time, placing it on my body (usually directly over my Solar Plexus Chakra). I envision the warm, healing energies absorbing into my physical body, feeling it shift and raise my vibration. Rest in the renewing energies of this remarkable stone, so kindly given to us for the betterment of our mental and physical states. Always be thankful and accepting of all the extraordinary abilities, naturally gifted to us when working with Citrine. I also like to place a larger piece in my meditation space and there is always a piece on my prosperity altar.

I recommend that you incorporate Citrine into your healing routine however you are drawn to. Give it a try, it is definitely a stone which will shift energies for you.

Keep in touch and let me know what you think.
